HISTORY
Nagasaki University is the first prefecture in Japan to incorporate Western medicine. Dr. KyokoYamada majored in
ophthalmology at Nagasaki University School of Medicine, received her Ph.D. degree and opened YamadaEye
Institute in 1989. Dr. Rika Yamada has studied leading edge therapeutic techniques.
